Roles available: x 1 full time (37.5 hours per week)
OR x 2 part time (either 15 hours worked across two days or 22.5 worked across three days)
We are looking to recruit a committed Domestic Abuse Helpline Worker based at our offices in Reading. Helpline is often the first point of contact for survivors and professionals; Helpline Workers undertake a range of tasks including crisis intervention, risk assessments and referrals for those seeking support, as well as providing comprehensive advice to professionals. As part of the helpline team, you will answer calls, respond to voice messages and emails and collect the monitoring data on our helpline.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building strong relationships with a wide range of professional agencies.
BWA provides full induction and training to new team members to develop the skills required for this specialist role.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate for this role.
