Membership and Volunteer Support Officer – closing date 22 January 2023

Our Membership and Volunteer Support Officer will be the first port of call for current and potential members of the Centre, helping them to navigate their day-to-day lives with Multiple Sclerosis.

When people are nervous about reaching out for support for the first time, you will reassure them and put them at ease. When they are unsure where to access the support they need, you will give them the options to help them make up their mind.
MS does not stop with the person diagnosed: those around them, including family members, partners and carers, are also affected. You will provide support and assistance for them.
Working closely with the Centre Manager you will help our volunteers and therapists at the Centre.

Using the knowledge and networks you will develop, you will be able to signpost people in the right direction if they have questions or need more support than what the Centre can provide.

You will help to develop the community side of our Centre and embracing those who attend our services – whether in person or those who make use of our online services.

Ideally you will join us full time but we will consider 25 hours+.
