Berkshire Vision supports adults and children who are blind or visually impaired across Berkshire. We offer a range of services with a focus on building independence.

The Activities Officer role is an exciting opportunity and the successful candidate will be able to create, develop, organise, deliver and evaluate an inclusive programme of social activities for visually impaired people of all ages, in Berkshire, which promotes good health and wellbeing.

We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting our members to live enriched lives, and therefore you should be someone who is able to work innovatively and be an advocate for our services. The role has an element of reporting, budget management and administration, the ability to use Microsoft packages is essential.

To apply you must be able to travel within the Thames Valley area, with some driving outside of the area and have a flexible approach to the hours worked. This role includes some evening and weekend work.

Please note, due to the pandemic the role will initially start with remote activities and will become a mixture of face to face and remote activities when government advice permits.
