Trusts and Grants fundraiser – closing date 30 Nov 2023

Thrive’s vision is that gardening is actively encouraged as part of personal health and well-being management and Social & Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) services are available wherever people live.

We’re looking for an experienced Trusts & Grants Fundraiser who is passionate about the work we do. The focus of the role will be on securing income from trusts, foundations (community, family, and corporate), and statutory sources – the role will also work with the Fundraising Manager on the development of Thrive’s major donor income stream. The money you raise will enable us to improve the lives of people living with disability and long-term health conditions.

As a key member of our Fundraising Team, you will work collaboratively with other teams across the organisation including finance, client services, and communications. As an excellent communicator, you will be responsible for maintaining funder relationships and securing essential unrestricted income, as well as funding for our various projects.

The role will involve researching new prospects, leading on and developing compelling and persuasive funding applications and stewarding new and existing supporters.

This is a 1 year contract, working 21 hours per week.
