We are looking for a pro-active forward-thinking individual to join our team and lead the Smart Works centre in Reading. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work across a breadth of projects simultaneously and superb leadership skills.
Reporting directly to the Chair of Trustees for Smart Works Reading, the Centre Manager will have responsibility for the operational and day to day management of the centre.
In practice, the role will oversee the delivery and expansion of the Smart Works service to unemployed women living in Berkshire, whilst also working closely with the Chair to raise the money needed to fund the work of the charity.
Given the breadth of the role, it is essential that the role holder is able to prioritise, deliver against ambitious KPIs and delegate effectively.
The role would be based in the Reading centre, and there will be occasional evening and weekend work as the role holder will be expected to attend fundraising and partnerships events. We are looking for someone to start as quickly as possible.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract. A part-time role, working Wednesday – Friday 9 am- 5pm.
