SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is an Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking to recruit experienced practitioners to work across both the Young Victim Service and Building Respectful Families – our service supporting families affected by Child on Parent Violence.
SAFE! works across the Thames Valley. There are currently office bases in Oxford and Bracknell and desk sharing arrangements in Bicester and Newbury. Some home-working will also be considered. We have part-time positions available in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire (up to 22.5 hours per week) and either full-time or part-time positions in Oxfordshire and West-Berkshire.
In order to be considered for this role you will have extensive experience of working with young people in a supportive role. An enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will have experience of multi-agency working and a commitment to high-standards of professionalism. You will be responsible for: providing appropriate support to children, young people and parents, conducting assessments and designing individual intervention plans based on the young person’s needs and providing support parents/carers.
