RISC is recruiting a new Project Coordinator for food4families, our successful community gardening project

- Do you have experience of project management?
- Are you based in the Reading area?
Food4Families works in Reading’s most deprived areas where we have created over 25 food growing gardens in various community settings and assisted 10,000+ people of all ages from a broad range of social and ethnic backgrounds in acquiring food growing skills. Our gardens provide opportunities for disadvantaged groups to access outdoor spaces, social support and engage in light physical activity in a safe environment.
Our new Coordinator will be self-motivated, with a commitment to sustainable food growing in the community and excellent communication skills. You will also need sound project management skills and the ability to creatively rethink and reshape the project within RISC’s overall objectives.
