Alana House is an award-winning women’s community service run by Parents And Children Together (PACT) that uses a holistic approach to support and empower women who find themselves at a disadvantage.
Alana House provides information, support and advice to help women with a wide variety of needs including domestic abuse, poverty, mental health issues, substance misuse, housing, education, unemployment, debt and parenting.
Alana House community project is currently running a Love Me Love Life programme funded by Sport England. This programme encourages women of Reading to get more active and to have a go at new activities.
We are looking for fitness professionals who are passionate and willing to share their love of fitness and movement through taster sessions for the women at Alana House to access. This is on a paid basis and there may be scope to develop this onto regular sessions.
If you would like to discuss this opportunity please contact Amelia Robinson, Communities Senior Support Worker on 07775413941.
