Are you a self-motivated individual with strong business development experience that can help us raise more vital funds to support migrant, refugee and asylum-seeking women from minority ethnic communities? If so, read on as we have a new and exciting opportunity to join our team

Reading Community Learning Centre (RCLC) is a passionate, women-centred independent charity which provides education and support for migrant, refugee and asylum-seeking women from minority ethnic communities who may be unable to access more mainstream services because of the educational, social or cultural barriers they face.

We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Charity Business Development Manager who is an ambitious, self-motivated individual, with strong business development experience. Most of RCLC’s income comes from grants, so a key part of this role will involve identifying grant opportunities and carrying out the applications. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for diversifying RCLC’s income streams to include fundraising and engaging with businesses and corporate organisations to attract funding, volunteers and rental income.
