Would you like to join a local Reading charity that has a bright future? We are looking for a warm-hearted team member, with highly professional financial management skills to help us develop and deliver an excellent supporting service for older people in Reading.

The financial systems at Age UK Reading are undergoing a transition from being run on various spreadsheets to being run on Xero. Currently, we are moving from working with an in-house Finance Officer to outsourcing some of the tasks to an external accountancy company. Unfortunately, our current bookkeeper has had to retire unexpectedly during this time for health reasons.

We are now looking for a bright individual to help us finish our transfer to a new way of working, and then work with us to establish good practices and efficient procedures as we move forward into the new way of working. We are a compact but highly effective small charity helping local people in the Reading area. We would love to welcome a new team member to help us achieve our goals.
