The Addison Men’s Project is a pilot specialist service providing outreach support to male survivors of domestic abuse. As an Addison Men’s Project Worker, you will provide high quality support, risk assessment, information and advocacy to men who have experienced domestic abuse. This role will promote awareness of the service within the local community, develop referral pathways with other agencies and explore the need for specialist interventions such as group work.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building strong relationships with a wide range of professional agencies.
For the above vacancy, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a confidential and safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families. A full driving license and access to transport is desirable

Contract: Fixed term until September 2023
An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate for this role.
