We are seeking a Senor Care Support Worker for our 4ME Activity Service, where no two days are the same.
As a Senior Care Support Worker you will be helping our members get the most out of their day and take part in a range of activities in our club rooms or out and about in the community.
The Senior Care Support Worker will have responsibility to lead on their designated days and plan and run activities to deliver a safe service.
They will also be responsible for the staff team to ensure the welfare of all clients is maintained at all times.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working within a small team, has a positive approach to work and is calm and non-judgemental.
Ideal candidates will also have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, together with an understanding of their changing needs in the community or in a caring role with other vulnerable people.
An NVQ 2 in Care or its equivalent is required or a willingness to work towards this qualification. (Support can be given for study and financing the qualification).
Experience of supervising and providing support to staff is desirable.
