Based in London with Hybrid Working
Our adoption teams focus on recruiting adoptive parents considering fostering to adopt and/or adopting a wide range of children including those over four years old, sibling groups, from diverse ethnicities and who may have disabilities. With access to our specialist therapeutic services, we are proud to provide excellent lifetime support for our families’ adoption journeys.
Working closely with the Team Manager, you will provide support and supervision to a team of dedicated and experienced social workers. This will include managing workloads, coaching and supervising team members to ensure that the highest standards of quality and professional practice are achieved and maintained. In addition, you will carry your own small caseload and deputise for the Team Manager as needed.
You should be a qualified registered social worker, with at least 3 years’ child social care experience including adoption experience. Skilled at undertaking more complex assessments, your own standards of practice will be consistently high, and you will work with the child at the centre of all that you do. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be a confident networker, able to build successful working relationships within your own team, across the service and with external professionals.
