The Together Fund is a Sport England initiative that supports voluntary community organisations to recover and emerge from the long-term impacts of COVID-19. It concentrates mainly on supporting these groups to reach and engage their audiences in movement and physical activity.
BME Youth is inviting clubs, groups, associations, and organisations to apply for Together Fund to deliver sports and physical activities to culturally diverse communities, disabled people, lower socioeconomic groups, and people with long-term health conditions to improve their health and well-being.
The fund priority audiences:
The fund is aimed at four priority audiences:
- People with long-term health conditions
- Disabled people
- Lower socio-economic groups
- Culturally diverse communities
Who can apply:
- Voluntary community partners and organisations.
- NHS/Local Authority or Leisure Trusts.
- Organisations seeking second or third applications to the fund – will only be considered if they can demonstrate their learning, value, and impact of earlier investments and focus on engaging new participants.
- Partners seeking to work together in tackling inequalities.
What can the grant be used for:
Funding can be used for (but is not limited to):
- Equipment hire and purchase
- Coach fees and expenses
- Hire of facilities
- Promotion and publicity
- Staff costs
- Transport and travel
How much can you apply for:
You can apply up to £10,000.
How to apply:

- Applications are invited on a first come first serve basis and they will close once all funds have been allocated.
Application Deadline :
- Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until 31 March 2023.
- Delivery of the project is expected to run from when you are awarded the grant to 30 September 2023.
