Reading Integration Board (RIB) is now inviting applications for (2025/26 funding) for projects and at the heart of our communities, which prevent the impact of physical and mental illness for adults. The awards from the Fund can reach up to £15,000, and more in some circumstances.
Who is eligible to apply?
The grants are aimed at all provider groups, to support delivery of integration priorities, based in the Reading borough:
- charitable organisations
- voluntary organisations
- community groups
- health care providers
- council providers
What are the funder priorities?
The projects and programmes should focus on health and social inequalities through one-off sessions, series of events, setting up a new project, continuous support, or expansion. This could be addressing the impact for adults of long-term conditions, supporting adults’ well-being, or tackling inequalities in the most deprived neighbourhoods and communities.
The projects should focus on vulnerable groups, ensuring older people, those with long-term health conditions, dementia, or disabilities and those most affected by health inequalities, get the help they need to live successful, independent lives in vibrant, thriving communities.
See detailed guidance linked below which elaborates on this further.
How much can organisations apply for?
Grants of up to £15,000.
They will consider grants of a higher value, for joint bids proposing a coordinated approach by more than one organisation to support the infrastructure and or singular bids that score 75% (72) or above (see scoring matrix linked below).
What can the grant be spent on?
- Local ‘one off’ projects
- Running an event
- Minor start-up costs (get new idea/project ‘off the ground’)
- Purchasing equipment
- Sessional costs
- Training
- Addressing inequality within our communities
Is there a deadline?
The deadline for applications is 23 July 2025. They will notify all applicants of receipt of their application by return email and of the outcome of their application in August/September.
