The James Cowper Kreston Foundation is a charitable organisation incorporated in 2021 and has been set up to help support local charities achieve their goals.
Whilst majority of the funds come from donations from James Cowper LLP Partners, the Foundation will also be running several fundraising activities through the firm. The Foundation will provide financial help to registered charities across a broad range of sectors within the Berkshire, Hampshire, London and Oxfordshire regions.
Who is eligible to apply?
- The Charity is registered with the Charity Commission or OSCR and has been for a minimum of one year and the Charity’s documents (e.g., Trustees’ Report and Financial Accounts) have been filed on time.
- I am applying for a grant towards a specific project (i.e. not the general running of the charity), which will support communities in the Berkshire, Hampshire, London* and Oxfordshire regions.
- The application is for a grant of up to a maximum of £5,000.
- The Charity, and its Trustees, do not have an existing or recent relationship (within the last 12 months) with James Cowper Kreston, its affiliated entities, or partners
What are the funder priorities?
They have simply indicated they are willing to fund a broad range of sectors within the Berkshire, Hampshire, London and Oxfordshire regions.
What can the grant be spent on?
Project related costs only and related salaries and over heads that are incremental and clearly linked. See their FAQ’s linked below for more information.
