We are campaigning to “Save Reading Gaol” for the community. The Ministry of Justice plans to sell the Gaol to the highest bidder, most likely a luxury housing developer. We want the Gaol to become a cultural hub and museum, open to all. This would be a huge asset for the community and also a fitting use for the Gaol which is an important national and international heritage site.
