Small Silence connects people with quiet. We support access to quiet spaces and use arts practices to improve wellbeing, whilst contributing to research in arts and health.
What we do
Together with our partners we work to protect quiet spaces, promote access and raise awareness of the value of quiet.
We are committed to fostering quiet for wellbeing. Through arts projects and research we work with charities, trusts, community groups, education providers and the health sector to promote quiet and stillness.
Using the arts and technology to engage learners, we work with schools, colleges, universities and community groups to promote the value of quiet for ourselves, our communities and the environment.
With a particular focus on sound, we undertake practice-based research into the contemplative arts for health and wellbeing.
