Epilepsy Berkshire aims to:
Give support to those with epilepsy and their carers.
Help educate the community and organisations about epilepsy.
Facilitate a sense of community and stop people feeling isolated.
Bringing people together in a social environment where they can feel safe and supported. Developing friendships and a realisation that their issues are similar to others and they are not alone.
To give support to the newly diagnosed to come to terms with their diagnosis and help where necessary to guide them to organisations that can help eg with financial support if required.
To help people to live with epilepsy and not be burdened by Epilepsy.
