The Foodbank Director will report directly to the Chair of Trustees and will lead the operation of West Berks Foodbank, with concern for its operational efficiency and standards in accordance with the Trussell franchise model. They will be responsible for the management of the Operations Manager, two Financial Inclusion Advisors and two Administrators as well as the volunteer Partnership Managers. In partnership with the trustees and wider management team: they will guide the development of the foodbank, including its staff, material resources, financial assets, reputation, partnerships and volunteer body.

Our passionate team of 6 staff and 170 volunteers support more than 1,500 households each year delivering vital services, strengthening community resilience and working towards long term solutions to hunger and hardship.

We are looking for an inspiring and experienced leader, and knowledge of the charitable sector would be advantageous.
