An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about the value of volunteering to join Sue Ryder in the role of Volunteer Coordinator to establish volunteering services in South Oxfordshire.

Volunteers are vital to everything we do at Sue Ryder. They help keep our care centres running smoothly, raise essential money to provide more care.

About the role:

As Volunteer Coordinator you will lead on establishing volunteering services to support our South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub and community services. With support from the Volunteering Service Team Manager, you will scope the volunteering opportunities in the area, develop appropriate volunteer roles, and recruit a large team of volunteers to meet the needs of our service users and be there when it matters.

You will lead on developing and maintaining an inclusive and impactful volunteering experience. You will be passionate about the value of volunteering, with experience of delivering best practice in volunteer management including recruitment, reward and recognition.
