As a CAAS Domestic Abuse Practitioner, your role will be to support West Berkshire Children’s Social Care in their work with Children and families experiencing domestic abuse. This will involve providing high quality consultation and advice to the team, as well as working directly with survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
The CAAS Practitioner will provide support, risk assessment, information signposting and advocacy to clients who have or are currently experienced domestic abuse. We are looking for an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building strong relationships with a wide range of professional agencies.
For the above vacancy, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a confidential and safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families. A full driving license and access to transport is desirable
