We are now looking to expand further upon our support services for children and young people and we are looking to source an enthusiastic, highly motivated self-employed and experienced Sessional Youth Worker.
Travel may be required around Reading, London and Brighton so that we can reach as many children and young people as possible and can carry out our activities face to face with them.
We currently offer drama, crafts, singing, cooking, experiments, story and percussion for children aged 2 – 10 years old adopted through PACT and we are now looking for someone who can help us to further build upon these existing activities and run some additional future events for older children & young people.
The purpose of these activities is to provide the chance for the children and young people to have fun together, connect positively with each other and gain confidence within a safe and welcoming environment.
Sessions are flexible and can be arranged to fit around other commitments. However, we will require some of the activities to be run during school holidays and on some weekends. We can offer a competitive rate for each activity event.
You will be well-organised, energetic, and highly confident and experienced in working directly with children and their parents and have some proven experience previously of working with vulnerable children within a professional capacity.
