Recovery Worker – closing date 30 August 2021

Compass Recovery College is a mental health and wellbeing organisation, where free courses are co-devised and co-delivered with people with lived experience of mental illness, clinical staff and other professionals.

Our courses focus on recovery and self-management skills. Courses vary in length and style. All our courses are free and are designed and delivered by people with mental health challenges

Compass Recovery College works with a wide range of community based organisations to encourage students to try new experiences, meet new people and form new relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Worker to support people falling into Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) groups and vulnerable communities with their mental health and wellbeing and with re-entering society after periods of social isolation.

The Recovery Worker will coordinate workshops and support delivery with expert contractors and VCS partners from a mental health standpoint. They will support and deliver courses pertaining specifically to COVID, lockdown, isolation, their effects on mental health, techniques for coping and self-management.

This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
