QVI provides professional foot health services for people who are over 60 or unable to manage their own foot care due to disability or a medical condition.
We are looking for a clinic co-ordinator to oversee a team of two receptionists, a cleaner and two/three foot health care professionals. Our main clinic is located in Reading. We also provide services at satellite clinics in community centres and at elderly residential accommodation.
- The main working hours are Tuesday and Wednesdays 9am – 4pm (flexible working may be possible).
- Salary: £15.00 per hour.
- This is an initial six month contract.
Your role is to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and its outreach services, including supervising staff, welcoming patients and making appointments, carrying out financial transactions, maintaining records and ordering supplies. You will report to the Trustees of the charity on a regular basis.
You will need to have experience in an administrative role, have supervised staff and be a meticulous record-keeper with some knowledge of book keeping. An understanding of the needs of older and vulnerable people is essential.
