We are looking for a proactive, community-minded Outreach Adviser to join our vibrant and friendly team at Citizens Advice Reading.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work at our Minster Street office alongside meeting people where they are, taking our vital services straight into the heart of Reading’s diverse communities.

This is a full-time, permanent role (35 hours per week), part-time job share considered. Ideally, you will have knowledge of multiple advice areas plus:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interview clients, understand complex situations, and explain information clearly (including working alongside interpretation services).
• The ability to work independently in the community while collaborating effectively with a remote support team.
• Strong digital skills to confidently navigate case management systems and online advice platforms.
• A commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and a passion for working within the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service.
• A willingness to continuous learning, including completing mandatory training and staying updated on changing advice guidelines.
