Are you passionate about ensuring children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) get the best start and that their families are supported? Are you focused on making an impact on families when they really need it? If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
Dingley’s Promise Centres provide a place where children, from birth to five years, with additional needs and disabilities, come to develop skills through play. We also support families directly with information and training. At our Reading Centre, 75% of our families are from ethnically diverse backgrounds, and so we are looking for someone with experience of working with these communities – ideally lived experience.
Under direction and guidance from the Centre Manager/Deputy, you will work with families in the Centre, and families in the wider community through outreach work. You will provide direct support, signpost to others and help to build peer support too.
