We are looking to recruit a committed Empowering Women Project Worker to provide support, risk assessment, information and advocacy to women with multiple or complex needs living in the West Berkshire area. Complex needs may include issues in relation to housing, finances, mental health, substance or alcohol use and/or domestic abuse. Your role is to work with clients who may find it harder to access mainstream services due to these multiple needs, and empower them to engage with support services around recovery and resilience. We are looking for an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building strong relationships with a wide range of professional agencies.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a confidential and safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families. A full driving license and access to transport is desirable
