Community Researchers, RCLC – closing date 7 January 2022

RCLC is looking for 3 Community Researchers with lived experience as a refugee/ asylum seeker or migrant who are interested in working with a University of Reading team of researchers. The research assistants will receive both training and work experience.
The team is doing a study of caring relationships, inequalities and wellbeing amongst families from migration and refugee backgrounds living in the UK and other European countries. Your role will be to listen to, audio-record and collect the stories of families in the Berkshire area.

We are looking for 3 community research assistants who speak English and one or more of the following languages:

  • Community Researcher 1: Urdu
  • Community Researcher 2: Standard Chinese (Mandarin), Yu (Cantonese)
  • Community Researcher 3: Nepalese

The post is part-time January-July 2022 and is based in Reading.
