RCLC is looking for 3 Community Researchers with lived experience as a refugee/asylum seeker or migrant, who are interested in working with a University of Reading team of researchers. The research assistants will receive both training and work experience.
The team is doing a study of caring relationships, inequalities and wellbeing amongst families from migration and refugee backgrounds living in the UK and other European countries. Your role will be to listen to, audio-record and collect the stories of families in the Berkshire area.
We are looking for 3 community research assistants who speak English and one or more of the following languages:
- Urdu
- Hindi
- Punjabi
- Arabic
- Turkish
- Kurdish
- Standard Chinese (Mandarin), Yu (Cantonese)
- Nepalese
- Bengali
- Polish
- Spanish
- Swahili
- Tamil
- Pashto or Dari
The post is part-time January–July 2022 and is based in Reading.
