seAp Berkshire is looking to recruit an Advocate, focusing on the Learning Disability Partnership Board and Self Advocacy, to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will be expected deliver one-to-one advocacy service such as independent Care Act Advocacy or Community DoLS.
A working knowledge and understanding of all types of Advocacy would be very desirable, together with a sound understanding of discrimination and inclusion issues. Safeguarding is a key element and appropriate relevant training will be provided.
Flexibility with working hours is also important, together with the willingness to undertake required training on the relevant QIA qualification module(s) required. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable for this position. You will also need access to a stable home broadband service.
