Cianna’s Smile supports families across the UK impacted by Sickle Cell, working to reduce isolation, provide education, and raise awareness of Sickle Cell and blood donation. We are seeking a Part-Time Administrative Officer to help ensure the charity runs smoothly, remains compliant, and can deliver its work efficiently and effectively.
The Administrative Officer will provide day-to-day admin support to the team and CEO, manage emails and enquiries, maintain databases, organise filing systems, and help prepare documents and reports. The role includes supporting events and projects by coordinating bookings, producing event materials, managing attendee lists, and completing post-event admin such as surveys and data entry. Responsibilities also include liaising with suppliers, assisting with basic bookkeeping (training provided), tracking donations and Gift Aid, and supporting volunteer communications, meeting schedules, and correspondence with families, partners, and funders.
Office coordination tasks include managing supplies, handling post, keeping the workspace organised, and opening and closing the office. The role may also involve supporting youth activity organisation and safeguarding processes (training provided).
The ideal candidate is organised, detail-focused, confident using digital tools, empathetic, culturally aware, proactive, and committed to supporting families affected by Sickle Cell.
Salary: £12.75/hour (15 hours per week)
