-
explore what we mean when we say ‘mental health’ and what conditions it includes
-
explain their offer and how people can access their services
-
feed back on what their service users are saying about Reading’s offer around loneliness and whether it is meeting their needs
-
look at how VCO staff and volunteers (in non-mental health specialist VCOs) can spot the signs of and risk factors for mental ill-health and encourage people to access support
It will be an opportunity for people to find out more about services that can support their befriendees and other service users who are experiencing loneliness.
The programme will include time for informal networking and an opportunity to share news, promote your service and find out about funding, events and training. Refreshments provided.
