What this session will cover:
RVA is holding a support session for charities and community groups who deliver services and activities in Reading to better understand and register with the RBC commissioning platform called ‘Intend’. This is the platform that Reading Borough Council will be using for their forthcoming Closing The Gap 2 (CTG 2) contracts that are expected to go live in or around April 2025. All of the information will be made available through Intend so if your charity or group would like to bid for those contracts, including partnership bids, then you will need to register with Intend to have access to the bidding documentation and so that you can ask questions throughout the application window.
This short 1-hour in-person session will take you through the registration process step by step and explain how to use the platform when the bidding window opens.
Who should attend:
The nominated person in your charity or community group who would be responsible for completing the bid online. This might be a staff member or trustee, or volunteer in a smaller group.
Please note that this session is only for charities and community groups who offer services in Reading. If you do not fit this definition, please contact us in advance to see if it is relevant for you.
The Trainer:
Herjeet Vass will be leading this session. Herjeet is the RVA Advice Service Manager and supports local charities and community groups with legal, governance and funding matters. Read more about our Advice Service here.
