Are you a charity or community group in Reading looking for space to run your activities or services, or do you have space within your building that you would like to hire out, lease or offer to others?

Then come along to our next Community Buildings Forum on 30 April 2026, 10am -12noon. (Registration and refreshments from 9.45am)

This session will include:

• voluntary sector spaces to hire/share
• RBC that may currently be up for disposal
• Commercial spaces
• funding related to buildings
• networking
• We are also hoping to have a speaker on the topic of charity loans and mortgages

Practicalities:

• Conference Hall, RISC, 35-39 London Street, Reading RG1 4PS. See this link on how to find the venue, bus routes, information on nearby paid parking, or disabled parking. The venue is a short walk from Reading Town Centre and the train station. Please come to the ‘venue entrance’ as marked on the above link.
• Registration and refreshments from 9.45am.
• The session is from 10am – 12noon.
• Slides will be sent out after the training, unless you have accessibility needs, in which case let us know on the online booking form.

If you are no longer able to attend the training, please let us know by emailing training@rva.org.uk with at least 48 hours notice so that we can offer your place to other people on the waiting list. If you don’t advise us with at least 48 hours notice we may charge your organisation or group a £20 cancellation fee.
