TVPS is celebrating a landmark moment: 40 years of supporting people living with HIV across Berkshire. Four decades of compassion, resilience, activism, and community. To honour this milestone, we are bringing something truly extraordinary to Reading.
As part of our anniversary, TVPS will be displaying a section of the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt, one of the most powerful and moving pieces of British HIV history. Each panel is a handmade tribute to a life lost to HIV or AIDS. Together, they form a profound testament to love, art, grief, activism, and courage.
Bringing the Quilt to Reading is especially meaningful. TVPS was founded here in 1985, and hosting the exhibition during National HIV Testing Week allows us not only to honour the past, but also to reflect on the progress made and the hope that lies ahead.
