Browns Community Services is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) working in communities across London and the South East of England. We give preventative support and advice to socially excluded, disadvantaged and vulnerable women (18+) with multiple and complex needs, including offenders, ex-offenders and those at risk of offending.

We are seeking a volunteer to build our social media presence, keep our social media channels up to date and contribute to communications and website content. The role will also includes attending some of our events/workshops to produce articles about them, and to produce our quarterly newsletter.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Some experience of marketing and social media, either through education, work or volunteering
• Familiarity with using social media and other online tools to generate interest in a business or project
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to write clearly, accurately and succinctly
• Approachable, friendly and professional
• Non-judgmental
• A willingness to adhere to organisational policies and procedures, including attending training and supervision
• An enthusiasm to contribute to a positive environment supporting vulnerable people.
