Join the team supporting the Whitley and Central Reading vaccine rollout
Stewarding / Event Support volunteers needed for Reading Voluntary Action (RVA) in RG1
We are looking for volunteers to join our team supporting the ongoing vaccine role out at the Whitley and Central vaccination hub.
Volunteers support in various roles to help those attending the site to receive their vaccine. This includes carpark marshalling, supporting with form filling, check-in and out and post-vaccination observation.
Complete the form HERE to join the pool of volunteers. Once registered we will contact you on a weekly basis to ask about your availability and create rotas for the coming weeks. We will be looking to introduce new volunteers to the team over the coming weeks.
No specific skills are required but you will need a reasonable level of physical fitness as you will be on your feet for extended periods of time. A calm and welcoming manner with strong communication skills is also important.
We are especially keen for sign-ups from people who anticipate they will generally be available to support weekday shifts until the end of June 21, although this is not essential.
