Administration volunteers needed for Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC) in RG1
Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC) is a Development Education Centre close to the heart of Reading’s town centre. We work with schools and community groups to raise the profile of global issues and promote action for sustainability, human rights and social justice.
We are seeking to add to our volunteer team by recruiting new office administration support volunteers.
Tasks will include:
- answering telephone, transferring calls or taking messages
- supporting RISC workers with data entry
- photocopying, laminating,
- sorting incoming mail and helping with mail-outs.
The role will also involve assisting the Community Facilities Co-ordinator with setting up and packing away meeting rooms and provision of refreshments to users of community meeting space.
Ideal candidates for the role will be computer confident with a good standard of English and good attention to detail.
