Each year Reading Half Marathon attracts 1000’s of runners from across the UK and beyond, from serious runners looking for personal bests to costumed fun runners soaking up the atmosphere. The race has become part of the fabric of the town with crowds of supporters coming out to cheer on runners as they make there way around the town towards the finish line at the Madjeski stadium.

The Marathon provides opportunities for charities, including some local charities, to become partners, creating an opportunity to raise funds and benefit from additional publicity. As part of the partnership, charities are asked to be part of the day by providing volunteers to support with race stewarding, cheer points and water station stops.
