As a volunteer gardener with Dimensions, you will have the opportunity to express your skills and enjoyment for gardening, while making a real difference for the people we support.

A section of the garden has recently been regenerated by a group of volunteers, and a volunteer is required to tend this and ensure it grows healthily.

Volunteers will be given creative license with the rest of the garden and will be allowed to do as much/little as they would like.

We just ask that you are available at least once per month, to ensure that the garden remains in a good condition and the grass is cut.

The garden also has a selection of resources, including fence stain, wood treater, acrylic paints and a selection of tools. A volunteer would be welcome (but not obliged) to help us by completing the painting of the fence, treatment of garden furniture and decorative painting.

The Role WILL NOT involve working alongside people we support.

Your duties will include:-

– Cutting the grass

– Tending the sensory garden

– Whatever you would like in the general garden, to make it an even nicer place to be
