Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for Reading Deaf Centre in RG1

We require an enthusiastic volunteer to join the Charity as a trustee to assist the Committee with business matters such as leases, employment and financial matters.

The Committee currently consists of mainly deaf or partially hearing members.

Experience and commitment are essential.

The volunteer will attend the monthly Trustee meetings that are normally held on a Tuesday evening between 7-9pm at the Deaf Centre’s offices in Cardiff Road, Reading.

We have access to interpreters. Whilst it is not critical the ability to sign would be an advantage.

The individual will also contribute with obtaining information on the above matters for discussion at the monthly meetings.

Good news for anyone thinking of becoming a charity trustee in Reading
