We are Hempen Cooperative, a small community farm based 4 miles outside of Reading.

Every Tuesday from mid-March we are hosting Community Volunteering Days.

From sowing seeds to pruning trees, making compost to relaxing with a hot drink of tea, our community days are a hive of activity. There is something for everyone.

The community days are part of our wider project to support food-growing in communities where people are food insecure.

We are also on the look-out for volunteers with cars!
Many of our volunteers face barriers which make it difficult for them to participate in our community days. We are recruiting a team of volunteer drivers who are able to help get volunteers to the farm and join in!
