A voluntary association, a registered charity, set up in 1983 to preserve for the benefit of the public all the natural aspects and features of the ancient Ridgeway trackways across the chalk downs of Southern England, including The Ridgeway National Trail; to enable their quiet enjoyment; and to promote greater awareness of their value to the whole community.
