We are a group of people from all walks of life, mostly aged 20-40, who carry out practical conservation tasks for the National Trust (NT) on its estates and woodlands. ‘Tasks’ are held on most Sundays where we do an endless variety of conservation and maintenance work. This includes tree clearance and planting; hedge-laying; fencing; ditch-cutting, pond maintenance, or construction of steps and stiles to improve footpaths
