The National u3a organisation is a non-profit making, charitable organisation providing those who have retired from full-time occupations to meet like-minded people and improve physical and mental wellbeing. Reading u3a is an active branch with over fifty different groups for members to get involved in. We learn within our groups which proves very successful. Individual groups meet regularly at different venues, and we hold a monthly Members’ Meeting and monthly Guest Speaker’s Meeting.
