Learning Through Action works with young people to help counter alienation, low self-esteem, underachievement and antisocial behaviour, through the delivery of interactive learning workshops/projects.
Interactive learning workshops/projects are delivered to young people, addressing a range of issues including personal decision-making, responsibility for the consequences of our actions, understanding sexual and other relationships, bullying, drugs awareness, nutrition, road safety, citizenship and motivation. The LTA teams of specialist-trained facilitators and ‘gap-year’ presenters work in central southern England including in Reading and across Berkshire. The projects are delivered mainly to groups of young people in schools/other venues on a daily basis during term times.
