HOST’s mission is to offer international students the chance to visit a British home and thereby promote international understanding and friendship.

HOST offers international students, over the age of 18, studying at all levels in the UK a day or weekend visit to a British home. We work with more than 100 subscribing institutions, many of whom pay in full for our students’ visits. We have a network of about 40 regional organisers nationwide, each of whom manages between 20-80 host families. Our small staff co-ordinates the application process for about 3000 applications per year and manages our relationships with subscribing institutions and other stake holders.

We have an active Board of Governors of 9 people and sub committees for income generations and personnel.
