Support and Friendship for Families within West Berkshire.

Home-Start West Berkshire has more than 40 volunteers visiting families at home each week in this area. Supporting parents in situations such as isolation, bereavement, multiple births, illness, disability or those who are just finding parenting a struggle. They provide non-judgemental practical and emotional support and help build the family’s confidence and ability to cope.

Home-Start West Berkshire has been operating within West Berks since 1997. Last year we were able to support over 100 local families. Our core belief is that children need a happy and secure childhood to help them achieve their full potential. We wish to offer our support and friendship to help parents with young children achieve this.

Alternately you may feel that you can support a local family through volunteering for us. Volunteers encourage, listen and offer practical support. They become a trusted friend and mentor of the family, to help them move forward.
