Volunteering Coordinator – closing date 6 March 2019

PACT is a supportive and respectful place where people are genuinely passionate about delivering positive outcomes for children and their families. We work with a high degree of flexibility and innovation to remain at the forefront of adoption services. PACT also runs community projects supporting vulnerable children and adults facing a range of issues including domestic abuse, homelessness and debt.

Volunteers and students play a key role in our continued success and we want to ensure that they are valued and motivated and the volunteering scheme fully embedded in all the services we deliver to support and build families.

This role is responsible for developing and managing volunteering opportunities. In addition, the volunteering coordinator provides support to both volunteers and staff working alongside volunteers by coordinating all aspects of PACT’s volunteering programme, including recruitment and general administration and for ensuring that volunteers receive a positive and worthwhile experience with PACT.

This is an exciting role and requires someone who is creative and enthusiastic as well as being well organised and able to pay good attention to detail. They will also be able to work occasional evenings and weekends, be a team player and have a passion for supporting and building families.
